Water-based systems
Sprinkler inspection software
All eight NFPA 25 water-based services run in CodeGreen ITM today, alongside fire alarm, emergency lighting, extinguishers, call for aid, kitchen hoods and fire doors. Schedule a visit at its ITM interval and the technician is asked exactly what is due for that kind of system.
Fifteen inspection programs are in the one flat rate. There are no per-discipline modules to buy.
Scheduled at the interval, asked what is due
A water-based visit is booked at its NFPA 25 interval, from weekly through five-year. The technician is then asked every item due at that interval or more often, for the systems that actually match: wet or dry pipe, Class I, II or III standpipe, electric or diesel pump, how the control valves are supervised. Nothing missing, nothing extra.
Readings are captured with their units (pressures, flows, temperatures and times) and print on the report. On the phone every date, time and measurement is picked on a scroll wheel, so a typo cannot get into a report.
The fire pump curve draws itself
As the annual test is recorded at churn, rated and 150 percent flow, the app plots the pump curve live against the manufacturer’s curve and the 95 percent acceptance line, and flags any point that falls below it.
The report prints the same chart, with last year’s curve beside it for comparison and a symbol legend. You can read a finished fire pump report on the home page before you sign up for anything.
The standard decides what cannot be answered
Where NFPA 25 makes one fact settle another, the app locks the dependent field and shows the reason: an unheated tank has no heating supervision, a Class I standpipe has no hose dates. A technician is never offered a combination that cannot exist in the field.
A failure on an item the standard treats as critical opens the deficiency at Critical, with a before photo and an after photo once it is fixed, so the correction lands on the report rather than in a notebook.
One visit, one combined report
Sprinkler, standpipes and the fire pump at the same property on the same day produce their own reports plus a single combined report for the customer, each naming the standard it was performed to.
The register works from the phone as well as the office: systems, pumps, tanks and hydrants can be added, edited and cloned in the field, with no signal, and they sync when service returns.
Common questions
- Which water-based services are covered?
- Fire sprinkler, standpipe and hose, fire pumps, private fire mains, water storage tanks, water spray, foam-water and water mist, all eight to NFPA 25.
- Do I pay extra for them?
- No. All fifteen inspection programs are in the one flat rate. There are no per-discipline modules to buy.
- Does it handle the different ITM intervals?
- Yes. The visit is scheduled at its interval, weekly through five-year, and the questions asked are the ones due at that interval for that kind of system.
- Can I see a real report first?
- Yes. Finished sprinkler and fire pump reports are published on the home page, exactly as the app produced them.
The other disciplines
One visit can cover every discipline the property has, each with its own report plus a combined one.
